Al Exito Afterschool, Middle School provides weekly afterschool programs culturally relevant, an asset-based curriculum that preserves and respects cultural values and tradition while promoting leadership and academic achievement in a safe environment. Middle school students are encouraged to dream big. Including a Middle to High School Transition Program special programs are created to assist middle school students transitioning to high school.

Movimiento Al Éxito, High School Program provides an intensive weekly afterschool leadership, college preparatory, academic achievement, and civic engagement program. Movimiento interweaves three key strategies to develop student youth leaders 1) research/ data analysis; 2) leadership through civic engagement; 3) youth-led action. Students explore their identity and world while being empowered to make a change.

Resilient Identity Community Alliance Al Éxito creates a positive environment to help all youth thrive and succeed. R.I.C.A. provided additional support for LGBTQ+ Latinx students and their families such as access to resources, empowered relationships, and mentorship specific to their needs. All students are welcomed at R.I.C.A

|drÄ“m|sÄ“d| is a youth-led business that partners with Spanish-speaking businesses to promote Latino philanthropy and community support. Students gain valuable entrepreneurial skills and career development. All proceeds come back to support the program. 
 

Al Éxito University is an intensive residential preparatory camp for Latinx students. The camp aims to nourish teenagers' college aspirations, start college plans, and provide experiences that will develop skills necessary to succeed in postsecondary education. Students will leave with an electronic toolkit outlining postsecondary pathways, a complete timeline from high school to college, a customized scholarship list, and completed scholarship essays. Youth will meet with staff, faculty, and students from numerous colleges/universities in Iowa. The program is free to attend for Al Éxito participants.

Al Éxito's Strategies to achieve our goals: 

  1. College Visits, Al Éxito has designed college visits where Latino students meet with students, faculty, and staff that look and understand  what it means to be Latino on a college campus 

  2. Leadership Development, Al Éxito provides opportunities for students and leaders to present publicly and get involved and engaged in their communities

  3. Mentoring, Al Éxito provides group mentoring opportunities for our participants form college students, professionals, and community leaders

  4. Tutoring, Al Éxito supports all students' academic success. Group mentoring by peers is provided as well as traditional tutoring.
